What Makes Direct Practice Different?

The choice of the Direct Practice not to participate in insurance reimbursement is one based upon preferences of the physician to spend as much time with each patient as needed. This can range from 20-40 minutes, during which she explains, asks and answers any questions that she or the patient might have. The practice is all about the quality of the relationship. With paper records she will take notes but faces you and listens, picking up many details that other physicians miss because of the pre-occupation with entering data into the electronic health record system. Again, the focus is on you and your health needs.

Our fees are flat rates. Anything we can do in the office will come under that rate. Cash, Debit or Credit are preferred payments for the Single Care visit, with Credit or Debit the preferred method of payment for Enrollees. Your medical files are entirely private as none of them are in electronic data form.

Our Philosophy

I am a concierge Physician who treats every patient as an individual with unique health concerns and needs. Consistent and ongoing health care is best accomplished in a relationship where physician and patient can have the amount of time needed to investigate and work on all aspects of health concerns without regard to number of visits or the amount of time the visits may require. If additional time is needed, please ask to include additional time when making the appointment.

When it becomes difficult for a person to travel to the office, we can set up a home visit program, limiting discomfort, anxiety and travel time for the individual and family or caregivers. We offer alternatives to costly and invasive evaluations in the Emergency Department setting when that is medically safe and desired.
